Medical & Health Disclaimer
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Effective date: June 17, 2026
1. Purpose / Who This Applies To
This Medical & Health Disclaimer applies to all users of the Crebral Health platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by [Legal Entity Name] (“Crebral Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It is intended primarily for the licensed healthcare and wellness Practitioners who subscribe to and use the Platform in a professional capacity. All references to “you” in this Disclaimer refer to such Practitioners and their authorized staff.
Please read this Disclaimer carefully. It sets out the fundamental nature of the Platform and the critical limitations that govern all content, analyses, and AI-Generated Output produced through it. This Disclaimer supplements (and does not replace) the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
2. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE — EDUCATIONAL TOOL
THE CREBRAL HEALTH PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, ANALYSES, REPORTS, AND AI-GENERATED OUTPUT PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL ADVICE, MEDICAL DIAGNOSES, TREATMENT PLANS, PRESCRIPTIONS, THERAPEUTIC RECOMMENDATIONS, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF CLINICAL GUIDANCE THAT SHOULD BE RELIED UPON WITHOUT INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL EVALUATION.
CREBRAL HEALTH DOES NOT PRACTICE MEDICINE, NURSING, DIETETICS, PSYCHOLOGY, OR ANY OTHER LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROFESSION. CREBRAL HEALTH IS NOT A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. NO INFORMATION, OUTPUT, REPORT, OR COMMUNICATION FROM THE PLATFORM SHOULD EVER BE USED AS THE SOLE OR PRIMARY BASIS FOR ANY CLINICAL DECISION AFFECTING A PATIENT OR CLIENT.
All AI-Generated Output produced by the Platform is an educational analytical starting point to assist licensed Practitioners in their own independent professional reasoning. It must be reviewed, critically evaluated, modified as appropriate, and approved by the Practitioner before it influences patient care in any way.
3. No Practitioner–Patient Relationship With Crebral Health
USE OF THE PLATFORM DOES NOT CREATE ANY PRACTITIONER–PATIENT, THERAPIST–CLIENT, PHYSICIAN–PATIENT, PROVIDER–PATIENT, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL HEALTHCARE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CREBRAL HEALTH AND ANY PATIENT OR CLIENT OF A PRACTITIONER.
Crebral Health is a software technology company. The relationship that exists through the Platform is solely between Crebral Health and the Practitioner as a business subscriber. Crebral Health has no duty of care, clinical duty, or fiduciary obligation to any patient or client whose data is processed through the Platform. Patients should seek care and advice from their own qualified healthcare providers.
4. The Practitioner Owns the Clinical Decision
As a Practitioner, you are the licensed professional responsible for your patients’ care. You have the sole responsibility and obligation to:
- Review, validate, and approve: Independently review and critically evaluate all AI-Generated Output before sharing it with or using it in connection with any patient. AI-Generated Output is a draft starting point, not a finished clinical product;
- Exercise independent clinical judgment: Apply your own professional expertise, knowledge of the individual patient, applicable standard of care, and clinical experience to evaluate whether any program recommendation is appropriate;
- Modify for the patient’s full clinical picture: Adjust all AI-Generated Output to account for the patient’s complete medical history, current medications and supplements, known contraindications, allergies, comorbidities, and individual circumstances that the AI Engine may not have access to or correctly assessed;
- Obtain informed consent: Obtain each patient’s informed consent for care, including where required by applicable law (such as California Health & Safety Code § 1339.60 / AB 3030) a specific disclosure that artificial intelligence was used in the generation of their program or analysis, and ensure patients have the opportunity to discuss the program with you before proceeding; and
- Comply with all applicable obligations: Adhere to your professional licensing requirements, applicable standards of care, ethical codes, malpractice obligations, and all applicable federal and state laws governing your practice.
CREBRAL HEALTH IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLINICAL OUTCOME, ADVERSE EVENT, PATIENT HARM, MALPRACTICE CLAIM, REGULATORY SANCTION, LICENSING CONSEQUENCE, OR ANY OTHER RESULT ARISING FROM A PRACTITIONER’S CLINICAL DECISIONS OR FROM THE PRACTITIONER’S USE, MODIFICATION, OR APPROVAL OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUT.
5. AI-Generated Program Limitations
The longevity programs, analyses, protocols, and recommendations generated by the Platform are produced by automated algorithms, machine-learning models, and generative artificial intelligence systems (collectively, the “AI Engine”). You must understand and accept the following fundamental limitations:
- AI may contain errors: AI-Generated Output may contain factual errors, inaccuracies, incomplete reasoning, contextually inappropriate suggestions, or medically unsound recommendations. Do not assume AI-Generated Output is correct.
- AI can hallucinate: Generative AI systems are known to produce plausible-sounding but false information, including fabricated or “hallucinated” citations to scientific literature that may not exist, may have been retracted, or may not support the stated proposition. Every citation in AI-Generated Output must be independently verified by the Practitioner before reliance.
- AI has a knowledge cutoff: The AI Engine was trained on data available as of January 2026. It does not reflect subsequent research, updated clinical guidelines, drug approvals or withdrawals, safety communications, or other developments after that date.
- Evidence grades are algorithmic: Evidence grades assigned to program recommendations are generated algorithmically by the AI Engine based on its assessment of the cited literature. They are not a substitute for your own critical appraisal of the evidence and do not represent a formal systematic review.
- Independent review is mandatory: You must independently review and verify the scientific and clinical basis of any recommendation before incorporating it into a patient’s care plan. Reliance on AI-Generated Output without independent review is a misuse of the Platform.
6. Biomarker and Biological-Age-Clock Limitations
The Platform displays and analyzes biomarker data and biological-age clock estimates. You must be aware of the following limitations before relying on this information in clinical practice:
- Biomarker reference ranges are population-derived research ranges: The reference intervals displayed by the Platform are derived from population-level research datasets and peer-reviewed longevity literature. They may differ significantly from the clinical reference intervals used by a patient’s laboratory, from the ranges endorsed by professional societies, or from the ranges appropriate to a patient’s age, sex, ethnicity, or clinical context. A value flagged by the Platform as out-of-range or suboptimal is not a clinical diagnosis.
- Biomarker values do not constitute diagnoses: Laboratory values displayed or analyzed by the Platform are data points to inform a Practitioner’s assessment, not diagnoses or clinical findings in and of themselves. Clinical interpretation requires integration with the patient’s history, symptoms, medications, and other clinical factors.
- Biological-age clocks are research tools: Epigenetic clocks, telomere assessments, proteomic aging algorithms, and other biological-age estimation tools integrated with or referenced by the Platform are research-grade instruments. They are not validated clinical diagnostic tests. Individual biological-age estimates carry meaningful uncertainty and should not be presented to patients as definitive measures of their physiological state.
- Biological-age clocks are not FDA-cleared or approved: No biological-age clock tool integrated with or referenced by the Platform has been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a medical device for clinical use. Their predictive validity for individual health outcomes in a clinical setting remains an active area of research.
7. Not a Substitute for In-Person Evaluation
The Platform is a research and decision-support aid for licensed Practitioners and cannot replace a thorough, in-person (or appropriately supervised telehealth) clinical evaluation. The AI Engine does not have access to a patient’s full medical history, physical examination findings, clinical intuition, or the nuanced contextual information that a qualified clinician gathers through direct patient interaction. No AI-Generated Output should be used as a substitute for a comprehensive clinical assessment.
8. Emergency Services Exclusion
THE PLATFORM IS NOT DESIGNED OR INTENDED TO BE USED IN MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. THE PLATFORM CANNOT CONTACT EMERGENCY SERVICES, DISPATCH MEDICAL PERSONNEL, OR PROVIDE REAL-TIME CLINICAL MONITORING. IF YOU OR YOUR PATIENT IS EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 (OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY NUMBER) IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK IN-PERSON EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE.
9. No FDA Clearance / Not a Medical Device
The Platform is not a medical device as defined under 21 U.S.C. § 321(h) and has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any clinical or diagnostic purpose.
The Platform is designed and intended to operate within the clinical decision support (CDS) non-device carve-out established by the 21st Century Cures Act (Pub. L. 114-255, § 3060, codified at 21 U.S.C. § 360j(o)) and FDA’s implementing guidance on clinical decision support software. Specifically, the Platform is designed so that:
- AI-Generated Output identifies the basis for each recommendation so that the Practitioner can independently review the basis and is not expected to rely primarily on the software’s output; and
- The Practitioner exercises independent clinical review, judgment, and decision-making authority over all outputs before they are used in patient care.
Nothing in these representations constitutes legal or regulatory advice regarding the Platform’s classification under FDA law, which may change based on how the Platform is actually used. Practitioners using the Platform in connection with FDA-regulated activities should consult qualified regulatory counsel.
10. Third-Party Content and Citations
AI-Generated Output may include citations to, or summaries of, peer-reviewed literature, clinical guidelines, and other third-party sources. These citations are sourced automatically by the AI Engine and are not independently verified by Crebral Health. Crebral Health does not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or clinical applicability of any cited source.
You must access and independently read every cited source before relying on it in patient care. You should verify that each source: (a) exists; (b) has not been retracted; (c) actually supports the proposition for which it is cited; and (d) is applicable to your patient’s clinical situation. Fabricated citations are a known limitation of current generative AI technology and have been documented across AI systems.
