Questions and answers

How do I sign in?
Use the same email and password as your Crebral Health clinic login. The app works only for clinicians and staff a clinic admin has added; if you don't have a login yet, ask the practice owner to invite you from Settings in the web app.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad, and a menu-bar app for Mac. The iPad shows the full chart with the Sasha rail; the iPhone records and shows visit prep; the Mac records while the chart stays open in your browser.
How does recording consent work?
Before a visit starts you record how consent was given: verbal and witnessed by you, written consent on file, or the patient taps to consent on the device. The patient can decline, and the visit simply isn't recorded. The consent notice text and version are shown in the app's Settings.
Where does the audio go?
Nowhere. Speech is transcribed on the device; the audio file stays on the device. Only the text transcript and the drafted note reach the chart. Audio is kept on the device until the note is signed and then deleted after the retention period you pick in Settings (3, 7, 14 or 30 days).
Where do I review and sign the note?
The draft is ready when recording stops. Review it in the app on iPad, or in the Crebral Health web app on any computer. Nothing reaches the chart or a claim until a clinician signs it.
A visit was lost, or the app was interrupted. Can I get it back?
Yes, as long as the device that recorded it still has the visit. Open Sessions in the app, swipe or long-press the visit and choose Rescue this visit. Visits the server no longer knows about appear under Recoverable on this device. The app replays the transcript and drafts the note again; the original recording is never deleted by a rescue.
What can Siri do?
Ask "what's my next patient in Crebral Scribe", "read my schedule in Crebral Scribe" or "read a note in Crebral Scribe". Siri reads patient names and note text aloud only if you turn on Read notes aloud in Settings; with it off, Siri gives times and counts only.
How do I delete my data, or a patient's data?
Patient records belong to the clinic, which is the covered entity under HIPAA. Patients should contact their clinic; the clinic handles access, amendment and deletion requests in the web app. Clinicians who want their own account removed ask their practice owner or write to us.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
Crebral signs a Business Associate Agreement with every clinic, and our own AI providers are under BAAs with inference pinned to the United States. Read the BAA and the privacy policy below.
Something is broken. How do I report it?
Email us at team@crebral.ai with the device, the app version from Settings, and what you expected to happen. Please don't include patient names or screenshots of a chart in email; describe the screen instead.
